What are we?
Launchpad Local is a Church youth group based in
Stevenage, UK.
Who for? Anyone aged 7 to 10 (School Years 3 to 6)
and Launchpad Plus for ages 11 to 13 (School Year 7 to
9) - it costs just £1.50 a week!
What do we do? Have fun! Games, sports, tuck,
craft, baking, cooking, colouring, talking, dancing,
singing, drama, karaoke...
I could go on, but why don't you just come along and see
for yourself?

is our new look!!!
It’s a very exciting time for Launchpad. We have
redesigned our logo and had a new banner made. We have
also had hoodies and polo shirts printed with our logo
on the front. Team have black hoodies with ‘Crew’ on the
back. Launchpad youngsters have ‘Cadet’ on the back of
grey hoodies. All tops have our web page on the back
also. Sam, one of our leaders has worked incredibly hard
to get a web page up and running and live…we are so
nearly there:

Our theme this half term has been ‘X-Factor’-did certain
characters that Jesus met have the ‘X-Factor’? We have
looked at The Disciples, Zaccheaus, Nicodemus, The
little boy and his packed lunch and ‘That’ woman ;-0. It
has been great fun, but I think the highlight has been a
‘sing-off’ karaoke-style stitch the leader. The leader
then gets ‘gunged’ in a telephone box gunge tank. .. the
young people love it.
